Aequor has no server, makes no network requests and transmits to nobody what you write. What you record stays on your iPhone, in the app's private folder.

Aequor is developed by one person, not by a company. There is no data protection officer other than the controller, because there is no systematic processing to oversee.
No personal data is collected by us. We have no database, no application server and we receive nothing from this app.
The data the app keeps on your device is what you write:
This data does not leave the device. We do not see it, we do not read it and we cannot recover it: if you uninstall the app, it disappears with it.
Aequor can generate personalised reflections. When it does, the model runs on your device, through Apple's Foundation Models framework, available from iOS 26 on devices that support Apple Intelligence.
This means the text of your check-in and the memories the app uses to compose the reflection are not sent to any server, neither ours nor Apple's: the processing happens locally. If your device does not support Apple Intelligence, Aequor uses an internal composition engine, which works entirely on the phone.
You can check this yourself: the app contains no networking code, and these pages say so because it is the product's real behaviour.
If you turn on the daily reminder, the notification is scheduled by your phone's operating system. It does not go through any server, and nobody knows you have a reminder, or at what time. You can turn it off from the app's settings or from iOS settings.
The widget shows the days in a row and your last check-in. It reads these numbers already calculated from a small area shared between the app and its extension, on your device. It does not leave the phone.
From settings you can export everything as JSON or CSV. Exporting is free and stays free even if you buy nothing: your data is not held hostage. The file is created on the phone and you handle it — if you send it to someone, that sharing is your choice and happens outside Aequor.
From settings you can delete all your data. Deletion is immediate and permanent: Aequor keeps no copies anywhere, and we cannot restore anything because we never had anything. Uninstalling the app has the same effect.
You buy Aequor PRO through Apple's App Store. We do not receive and do not keep the data of your card or your account: Apple handles it, under its own privacy policy. All the app knows is whether the purchase is active on your account.
The GDPR gives you the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. With Aequor you exercise these rights directly in the app, because the data is already in your hands: you can see it, export it and delete it without asking anyone's permission, and without waiting.
If you believe the processing does not comply, you can contact the supervisory authority of your country — in Italy the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (the Italian Data Protection Authority), in Spain the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (the Spanish Data Protection Agency).
Aequor is not aimed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data about them. Since no data leaves the device, there is no processing on our part, in any case.
If this policy changes, the date at the top is updated. Substantial changes are announced in the app's release notes. We do not use the policy to introduce processing that does not exist today: if one day Aequor needed a server, it would be a new version of the app, with a new policy, and we would say so before releasing it.
